Naturally Cleaning your China Teacups

I absolutely love finding china teacups in charity shops or getting them as gifts. But as I drink black tea, and have two lovely little people who love to distract me from it, it often goes cold and leaves icky rings and marks inside the cups. I spent a lot of time scrubbing the heck out of them and they never quite looked clean, but luckily my Mama told me about how my Granny used to do it and it has made the whole process super easy! I love a Granny-knows-best solution.

It’s super simple; all you need to do is take your empty mug and fill it with cold water and add some citrus juice. I use lemon or lime halves I have squeezed for recipes and then pop them into the cup. Leave them overnight and in the morning simply scrub them and they will come up sparkly and new.

Do you have any old, natural and simple hacks to share?
