Moo Free Easter Egg Review
Moo Free is a great company and has been our go to chocolate for over 4 years now. We wanted an excuse to try more of their ever-expanding range, and once again we’re using this blog as an excuse to say we are doing research, but we are actually just eating Easter Eggs in our jammies and checking we picked the egg we like most for Easter Sunday!
We love this company because their products are all vegan, they are UK based and have organic options available, plus all of their materials are recyclable and the company stands out for being zero waste. For these reasons we strongly recommend Moo Free and hope that this delicious little review helps you chose this year’s Easter Egg.
Original Chocolate Egg:
Overall response: A dang good egg!
Easy to crack and a good amount of chocolate for the money. It was smoother and creamier than the chocolate buttons but we actually preferred the buttons to this egg, obviously this comes down to personal preference though!
Orange Chocolate Egg:
Overall response: A really good egg!
Tastes really creamy and orangey – reminded us of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange which is a massive winner in our books. We would say this is the most like a direct replacement of a well-known dairy option.
Honeycomb Chocolate Egg:
Overall response: Mixed reviews…
This was harder to break, as their are chunks of honeycomb throughout (who’d have thought it?), one of us thought it was perfection and the one thought it needs more crunch to reach such levels of praise.
Milk Chocolate Buttons:
Overall response: Super yummy!
Very similar to milk chocolate, not quite as creamy as we remember dairy chocolate being but still delicious, and also not too sweet.
Mint Chocolate Bar:
Overall response: Thumbs up all round.
Smells good, a decent level of mint in the chocolate, better than an Aero and not as intense as an After Eight.
White Chocolate Bar:
Overall response: Best vegan white chocolate we’ve had!
This is by far the creamiest of all the ones listed here, and whilst it’s not as sweet as we remember a Milky Bar being it is definitely white chocolate, and the nicest vegan brand we’ve tried.
We are not being sponsored for this post (unfortunately!) but we really do think that for the price this is the best quality Easter Egg and chocolate selection that you can get. When you add the amazing ethics of this company on top of that it’s a no brainer to us. You will be seeing these yummy products all over our table on Easter morning waiting to surprise the children.
We hope our little review helps you try something new, we loved eating all the chocolate!
Happy Easter,
Livvy and Summer
